Considerations for the standards

Each standard should differ in the following points:

Two backgrounds should match to symbolise the affiliation of two groups to each other.

The names of the animals should be easy to call out in German and English.
The names of the animal colours should be easy to call out in German and English.
The resulting animal names should be easy to call out.
The name of the colour red is not used as it can easily be confused with dead.
The colours should be easy to distinguish for people with colour blindness.
The colours should have a good black/white contrast on the flag so that they are also easily perceived in the peri ferry view.
They should be colours that were also used in the Viking Age.
The animals should be identified with strength today and in the past.
They should be standard shapes from the Viking Age.
The standard shapes should be clearly different so that they can be easily distinguished even at a great distance.
They should be animal symbols that were used in the Viking Age. (Not successful)
The standards should look good so that the groups can easily identify with them.
